Meet the trainer:
Mariam Savabi, MD, MPH
Dr. Mariam Savabi is a generalist Ob/Gyn who believes in the importance of an anti-oppressive approach to medicine to change maternal morbidity and mortality outcomes. She performs anti-oppression trainings and lectures for medical providers on how to interrupt oppression in medical practice. Dr. Savabi currently works in Tacoma, Washington for MultiCare Ob/Gyn Associates and has a faculty position with the University of Washington Tacoma Family Medicine Residency and Ob Rural Fellowship.
